“Here’s my reasons. After retirement, I knew I wanted a horse.  Eventually, that turned into four horses. I must have purchased a dozen saddles looking for the best fit for my horses and me.  A friend told me about TW and I made an appointment with a fitter.  Once I tried the featherweight trail, I knew it was the right saddle for my horse and me.  I originally planned to switch the pads out between horses, but decided they each needed their own.  

 I soon had four horses and each time, I purchased a new saddle.  I went with the Classic western for my last two because I plan to ride more hills and rocky areas soon and wanted the back cinch.  The saddle fits them so well and is lightweight enough for me to get it up on my tallest horse.  I can ride comfortable for hours in them.  I even have two friends that purchased after one of them tried my saddle out.

I wrecked a shoulder in 2022. Another reason these saddles are important on the lighter weight.  I’ve been strength training with the goal to mount from ground when needed.  That was the first time I did it.”
